The Brief.
Ardvale believes in honest and humble collaboration to tell simple yet impactful, narrative-driven stories. They aim to connect with audiences on a deeper level—whether to make them laugh, cry, or jump out of their seats. Ardvale takes pride in its dedicated and friendly approach with a creative team that consistently brings fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
Ardvale promises high-quality, visually distinct films that offer fresh, diverse perspectives, push boundaries and stand out as a forward-thinking independent studio.
Finding success with their online short films, Ardvale is now looking to cement its place as an emerging independent production company in the UK. The goal is to expand into commercial content, develop larger internal projects, and grow on social media.



The Solution.
We developed a brand strategy and identity system for Ardvale that balances minimalist design with bold visuals. Using innovative marketing strategies, the brand connects with audiences who value originality, creativity, and emotional depth in storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from Ardvale's portfolio and heritage, we crafted a brand environment confident in adopting an edgy, artsy, and experimental tone. The brand reflects the quirky, dark, and genre-defying nature of Ardvale's films, appealing to cinephiles and younger audiences who appreciate unconventional narratives with innovative twists, humour, and witty social commentary.
To honour Ardvale's roots, we embraced 1990s counterculture, both in the visual style and attitude, blending pop-culture influences from the late 90s to early 2000s. The brand image combines gritty indie sensibilities with bold saturated colours, creating a contrast between grimy realism and vibrant visuals. This aesthetic is consistent across the logos, copyright, web development and all internal and external collateral.
